Switching from v0.49.2 to 1.7.5 - what are the most important things to know?

Hello,

I’ve been using versions previous to 1.0 a lot. But now as I want to develop my setup and program in O-S-C again, I’ll switch to v1.7.5. So if anyone can tell me:

  1. What are the main changes I should pay attention to?
  2. What are the new modules/possibilities introduced after v0.49.2?

The most exhaustive resource on the subject is the changelog file. Depending on your usage and habits, the changes you’d consider importants are likely to be very different so I advise you read this file very carefully (from bottom to top).
