Controlling VCV Rack 2

This is my first post. I got to know Open Stage Control a few weeks ago while I was looking for a connection from TouchOSC to VCV Rack.

The idea of simply connecting an external device via http is great, even if it causes problems with latency. But the big advantage: no installation. Old tablets work without problems.

At this point, thank you very much for developing and providing this software.

I've spent the last few weeks creating an interface for VCV Rack.
Version 1.0 is now ready, which I would like to present here.
Some tips from this forum have been included in the code.

The basic idea was to create a GUI that works with a basic patch of VCV Rack. The basic patch essentially contains a mixer and some sequencers.
This patch can then be supplemented with additional modules that are connected to the OSC knobs.

Here is a list of the features:

  • Five different synth sections and a drum section.
  • 32 controls per section.
  • Fine adjustment via a large controller
  • 8 presets per section selectable via buttons
  • 11 sequences per section selectable via buttons
  • Autofade: Controls can be moved using a timer.
  • 2 joysticks for moving knobs in Open Stage Control.
  • Keyboard for editing sequences in Open Stage Control.
  • Grid for editing drum patterns in Open Stage Control.

... and a video showing the components in action
