Web App naming, app icon and favicon

Hi,

I was wondering about styling the webapp for mobiles (or desktop for that matters).

I tried obvious things (looking in ressources) but it seems those assets somewhere else than in client folder.

The idea is to be able to give a sensible name to the app, some icon for mobile, some favicon for web tab.

I’m mainly doing custom stuff, so it wouldn’t be useful for community, but the ability to deep style it, would.

There’s currently no (re)branding option in O-S-C, I can’t say I’m particularly interested in implementing this at the moment. You could of course get it done by editing things from sources and build your own flavored version of O-S-C. At runtime the webapp’s logo/favicon files are located in resources/app/assets/.

Thank you.

I totally respect the choice. It is never intended with some malicious thought behind it. Just for clarity sake! The O-S-C icon is great, but non-descript and doesn’t provide that much visual feedback, especially when you place in on the iphone/android home screen. It is the only point. God forbids to hide your great work. It’s a usability.

For example, I’m using O-S-C for 2 small apps to control exhibitions in 2 different locations. There’s currently no way to distinguish it on the phone or pad.

But I do understand you don’t want to spend time on that. I’ll figure smth out.

Thx
