Remote Chromium Client App on Windows Machine

Hi everyone! I'm curious if anyone has been able to set up something like the client/GUI, except on another machine in the network. Particularly I'm trying to create the client experience without resorting to a browser (something that might stay put). If anyone has any ideas, let me know!

The client is a browser. I think the closest you could get is to create a desktop shortcut with with chromium/chrome on the remote system (How to Make Chrome Shortcuts on Your Windows Desktop).
