Connect to server on public network (with different IP adresses)

Hi there,
I just started using OSC and I am really amazed by how good it works.

I only have one small problem. I am using OSC to control a projection on my Mac from my iPad. It works fine on my Wi-Fi at home, but it won't work at my university. I am guessing this is because of the different IP adresses that I have on the devices (I can access my interface from the browser on my Mac, but not on my iPad).

When I am using my Wi-Fi at home only the last number of the IP adress is a different one. But if I am using the public network at my university (eduroam) the last four digits are different.

So is there any way I can fix that?
I am thankful for any tip.

I'm not familiar with eduroam, but if your devices can't see each other on this network (which I guess would make sense to prevent inter-students attacks), open stage control won't be able to establish a connection. Asking your network's admin might help, creating an ad-hoc network on your mac might do too.

Alright, I'm gonna try that. Thanks so much.
