Hi there! I've been trying to control specific track in Cubase, but it turns out that cubase way of assigning any midi signal to a track is by the track's "channel number", which is the order number of the track.
In this case, I cannot freely add or remove any track from a template because that will affect the order and make the assigned controls go wrong!
So I was thinking, is there any way to get those track order number from Cubase into OSC? Since it's possible to get the track name.
If I have both track oder number and track name, I can truly locate any track without worrying the order of it.
Or trigger macro or project logical edit functions in cubase to search for name or track colour of type. As long as you follow a naming convention you can use OSC to trigger a midi remote in cubase and assign your macro or PLE presents to that remote.
