Hello,
I am currently using a Windows computer and thinking to switch to MacOS. However, as MacOS is not multitouch, I am thinking about buying a Touch Base driver to connect my Hanns-G HT225 monitor.
Does anyone has experience with drivers from this company? Do they function smoothly with O-S-C? How many simultaneous touches have you reached?

Bumping. I'm also interested in attempting this with an Acer Monitor.
No one using a Touch Base driver?
I think that an alternative solution would be to buy a cheap Linux computer (Raspberry Pi or such) just for this. If you can establish a network cable between the two computers it might even be easier and more reliable than using a special driver and a server such as the ones provided by Touch Base.
I am not currently, but I am taking the jump. I'll follow up with you in the next week or so. I've also considered using the raspberry pi method
I've started a new thread in the Linux subforum.

Ya I'm doing this. It works great.
I've just bought a Pi 5. Do you run Raspberry Pi OS on yours @datalooper, or Ubuntu? And with which make/model for the monitor?
I'm running a uPerfect touchscreen directly connected to macOS Sonoma
OK. Do you have to use a TUIO server?
@datalooper Can you explain how to configure a Mac to get the touch data into O-S-C?
FYI, I have successfully installed the Touch-Base driver for MacOS Sonoma. However I had to download the device identification utility first (Touch-Base Cloud). Note the despite being an Hanns G monitor, my device is listed as an Asus in the driver sent by Touch Base. The app included a test section which successfully detects 10 simultaneous touches. Now I still have to find how to bring the touches to O-S-C...
The Touch Base app allows one to set what do do according to each element on a GUI. Interestingly, when using O-S-C client, the whole GUI is seen as a single element whereas when the server is accessed over Firefox, each element can be seen individually. Now I need to see if I can really program this the right way and if it this setup can be reused when the page is reloaded from one work session to another.
In case other people are interested: I finally managed to get my Open Stage Control to run under MacOS. The solution is to direct the touches to the Touch Base "Commander" TUIO server directly using the appropriate preset. Then, one has to install a TUIO client extension for either Chrome or Firefox. Now I have a very good experience with this setup (Chrome). The documentation provided by Touch Base is extensive but sometimes matches older versions of their software only. Also, the support is not great.
Thanks for the heads up !
