Grid layout - odd display on ipad

Trying to make a little grid of controls. They look fine on desktop -

but display strangely on iPad!

This is the layout inside -

I've set the Panel to 'grid', with '3' in the grid template ...

All the knobs, buttons, and panels inside have the same geometry settings like this -

Any ideas?

would you tell us more about your configuration ? ipad version ? Which browser ?
is it possible to have a json session file including only your issue ?
And maybe somebody could help you.
