If seems there is an incompatibility between recent glibc and electron.
I manually upgraded electron from 7.1.11 to 7.1.14 and it fixes the crash for me.
I am surprised that no one else is affected, as it should affect (at least) all archlinux/manjaro linux users...
@jean-emmanuel I can still patch o-s-c manually too, but at least if other users experience this, there is a solution
