Lag/delay of response on host computer

Hi, I have a constant lag/delay on the response of any button pressed from the touch screen end.

When I tap buttons from the host computer (MAC pro, where OSC server is), the touchscreen's button(via latest chrome AND firefox button) will respond(flash) with no lag. But when I tap the button from the touchscreen's end (the touchscreen viewsonic TD2230 is hooked on a windows notebook), the response from the host computer has about 50ms-100ms lag on every 2 out of 3 taps (which is a problem for tap tempo).

I've tried on browers from other device like my iphone etc, it's the same issue. I've alo tried on browers on the host computer and there's no such issue. Any idea how to resolve this?

I could upload a video if it helps to show the problem better.

A wired network connection could help reducing the latency, I don't think there's anything I can do on the software side to change that significantly.
