Manual (by executing a command in the menu or using a keyboard combination).
Incremental (checking to see if there are other backups with the same name, and if there are, automatically increment the numbers [of the new 'backup' files]).
Backup (save a new file, but without opening it).

Any news on this? (please excuse my impatience!)
Unfortunately not, I haven't had much time to work on new features lately, real life's been kicking in a bit (for the best though, playing live music is slowly becoming a thing again 
)
