Clickable encoder widget

Dear Jean,

Many MIDI controllers and pieces of MIDI equipment feature encoders that are also clickable. This dual functionality essentially combines the traditional rotary control with a push-button feature.

Considering this, would it be feasible to integrate button functionality into our existing encoder widget, or to develop a new widget specifically designed for these clickable encoders? For instance, the button display could be located in the inner circle inside the encoder.

I believe such a widget would appeal to a wide audience.

Hi,
Extending the existing encoder's scripting capability to allow this could be done in a future version, I'm not sure about a adding a dedicated widget. To be continued (adding new features is a very low priority these days, but it happens from time to time).
