Fader that snaps/locks to multiple defined values

I’m trying to copy the master control fader from cubase and I’d like to have a fader that would lock in to certain values instead of dynamically moving across them. Here’s a bad mspaint image of what I mean

Each turn from left to right would basically +/- 3dB and snap to it like a cogwheel turning. Is this possible to setup with a fader to have multiple defined snapped values?

@guitmart Thanks! This definitely got me started.

I’m messing now with the steps and trying to get the range to work right with the Cubase fader.
